What I love about this, is that it is told from Brooklyn Natives. There is an energy about Brooklyn that unless you have been there you won’t understand. It’s lovely. It’s like home to me. But not home at the same time. Fond memories. What’s sad about this project is that it does paint a glossy look at that time, because there was still a lot of crack and foolishness that was going on during the early 90′s in BK. Also whats extra sad is that on the west coast, there isn’t a place like this, that is comparable and ppl here won’t understand the energy and familiarity that ppl are speaking about. ALSO this came out on the circuit a while ago and it still hasn’t aired in the west. There are so many transplants here, that it should… Hence the kickstarter page. They need money to get it out there. Help if you want, and if you don’t, I get it. You just don’t get “it”.
